Marching band is a great time for development in young musician's lives. That's why it is so important to recognize those outstanding achievements. The following awards will be given at the end of each marching season:

End of Year
At the end of every year we always recognize our seniors. We also take this time to recognize some outstanding middle school band members. This always takes place at our final Spring Concert, usually during the last week of school. Following this are the awards. At the end are the highest-honor end of year awards band members can receive.

Director's Award
The Director's Award is given to one graduating 8th Grade band member who will be moving on to the high school band. This award is given for the similar aspects as
the Sousa Award, musicianship and dedication to the band.
Senior Recognitions
Sousa Award
The Sousa Award is a great honor given to one member of the band each year. This award is named after the late John Philip Sousa, a great American musician,
composer and conductor. This award is given to honor the top student in the high school band, recognizing superior musicianship and outstanding dedication. It was created with the approval of Helen Sousa Albert and Priscilla Sousa, daughters of the famous composer and bandmaster.
